Description
A budget tuner pedal I used before the TU-2 took its place. It's retired now.
I bought it new because I couldn't find the Boss tuner anywhere, and the ones I did find were extremely expensive, and I wasn't going to spend that on a tuner. So I got the cheapest tuner I could that still had good reviews, and this was the result.
Impressions
It was an interesting pedal while it lasted, I used it for a bit less than a month. The big advantage is that it's extremely tiny, so it fits basically anywhere on the pedalboard. But because it's small, it doesn't have some of the things the Boss one has that I think are really good, like the second power output for another pedal and the bypass out, which kind of lets you use the tuner as a switch.
In general it's very good. It works, it's accurate, and it has a pretty big display, so it's easy to see what's going on. I used to take it with me to rehearsals, but since it needed a battery it ended up being a bit of a loose end, and it was awkward to fit it anywhere. So I ended up buying a tiny clip-on vibration tuner, and that's what I use today.
This pedal isn't in use anymore, but it's a good one and I keep it in case I need it, because it's very easy to carry around.
