Description
The wah on my pedalboard. This one I use quite less than all the others, because I don't have the coordination needed to play and also operate the pedal, but that's mostly a skill issue.
Impressions
It works really nice if you have a clean sound or a very low distorted sound. So for example, if you want to play anything that resembles Metallica's Kirk Hammett solos with wahs, you won't be able to do it, because it has a very low modulation, at least this version that I have, and it only shows up if you pass the entire chain to it.
So if it is on the end of the chain, you will get a lot of modulation. But if you are using it like I am, in the beginning of the chain, you can only get modulation with low distortion, like the Centaur or the DS-1 in a low setting. You won't ever be able to get it with a high distortion, or the Big Muff, or whatever other pedal, especially not with the Metal Zone.
Final thoughts
I hardly use it and I don't have a lot to say about it, other than that it's just a huge pedal, and I'm thinking about just putting it aside on the pedalboard because I rarely use it. But it's really fun to use when you need one. I'm thinking if I should actually get an auto wah on the pedalboard instead of this one.
